Jackie Kai Ellis is a designer, entrepreneur, pastry chef, author, lifestyle & travel writer, advice columnist and the host of the new docu-series, House Special, which explores Chinese Canadian history through small town Chinese restaurants.
She is best known as the founder of Vancouver’s Beaucoup Bakery, for the design of her homes, such as APT La Fayette in Paris, and her bestselling memoir, “The Measure of My Powers: a Memoir of Food, Misery and Paris.” She lives in Vancouver and Paris.
