IDS Vancouver - Interior Design Show

SEPTEMBER 25-28, 2025

Vancouver Convention Centre West

We acknowledge the unceded land on which we're living and working.

The land on which IDS Vancouver takes place is the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.

We're committed to sustainable practice in the event industry.

There's an exciting opportunity for design to contribute to solving some of the world’s biggest challenges. Requiring a paradigm shift in our behavior, with a goal to exceed the needs of the design community without further breaching environmental boundaries, IDS is proactive on the issue of sustainable exhibit construction and installation re-use.

We have made it a mandate to encourage new material options and creative solutions at the fair, in addition to being the place for dialogue that can amass collective will. Supporting partners and exhibitors are encouraged to conceive of non-permanent installs with indivisible components of a larger, constantly-regenerating and self-sustaining system. IDS Vancouver is committed to strengthening our working practices and supporting architecture and design with positive environmental impact, both regionally and internationally.

We strive to be a sustainably-run business.

Climate Smart is a social enterprise based in Vancouver, BC that enables organizations to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, strengthen their businesses and build a resilient economy.

Since February 2020, Informa Canada Vancouver, the parent company of IDS Vancouver, has become a Climate Smart-certified business. All actions taken will be complementary to the Faster Forward program, setting targets to become a Carbon Neutral by the beginning of the year 2025 and a Zero Carbon and Zero Waste company by the beginning of the year 2030.

We're committed to championing diversity.

We pledge to diversify our roster of community partners, vendors and service providers, welcoming a wider range of perspectives into our day-to-day operations and our social platforms.

We pledge to continue to represent underrepresented design voices by maintaining a target of 50% representation of BIPOC and women speakers and exhibitors at the events and represented in digital content.
