Daniel Ling is an award-winning architect and a Principal of Toronto-based practice Montgomery Sisam. Over the last 20 years, Daniel has worked across many industry sectors, with a focus on social and civic infrastructure projects, including affordable, supportive, and transitional housing at the forefront of sustainable design. These benchmark projects include the first net-zero emissions modular supportive housing prototype, the first passive house modular supportive housing complex, the first zero carbon affordable housing development in Peel Region. Daniel is an impassioned advocate for positive city-building and believes in climate-ready design and construction that privilege resiliency, adaptability, decarbonization, quality and equity to achieve more with less.
