Profile
Alexandra is an Associate with Montgomery Sisam Architects and a PhD Candidate in Building Science at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her work in research and practice focuses on understanding and improving the person-environment relationship, particularly for vulnerable user groups. She has authored articles featured in leading industry publications promoting thought leadership and innovation in architectural design. Alexandra’s doctoral thesis considers the gap between design intentions and occupant experiences and contributes a toolkit to support practice-led building in use research. Recent peer-reviewed publications include a review of the performance concept in recent post-occupancy evaluation literature and an exploration of post-occupancy evaluation in Canada. Alexandra is an Evidence Based Design Accredited Professional.
