Daniela Furtado is an SEO professional. She helms a digital marketing agency in Toronto. Her team uses search engines to help businesses quintuple their website traffic and triple their sales inquiries. The agency specializes in the design and build industry. Armed with a computer and dial-up internet, she first learned about website design and search engines at the age of 12. Her scrappy personality led her to a career in digital marketing. She completed a Master’s in Digital Marketing at Aula CM in Madrid, Spain, and spent several years working for large companies before she started an agency of her own. Outside of her agency, she also teaches courses and writes about marketing. She takes the best of what she learned from corporations and teaches the most meaningful parts to her team, clients, and students. Whether it’s in a meeting room, classroom, or on stage, she is on a mission to make search engine marketing less boring, technical, and mysterious, and instead give it simplicity, creativity, and humour. Daniela is Portuguese-Canadian. She lives in Toronto, Canada, and speaks 4 languages. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, dancing, and drawing.
