Odessa Paloma Parker is a freelance writer, editor, content strategist, stylist and educator. She is currently the Contributing Art Editor at Globe and Mail Style Advisor, and in 2022, she founded Opaloma, an arts and culture platform for groovy folks.
Her previous roles include Fashion News Director at FASHION Magazine; Fashion Editor at The Globe and Mail; and Head of Content for a trio of cannabis brands. Her journalistic expertise has been acknowledged by a National Magazine Award nomination, and she has served on the jury for the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards, the nomination committee for The Fashion Awards held in London, U.K., and a curatorial e-panel for London Fashion Week.
For the Fall 2021 semester, Odessa developed and delivered a Masters-level course called ‘Storytelling and Design’ at Toronto Metropolitan University. She also co-founded the event Vintage Crawl Toronto.
