Profile

Camille is an Architect with the Toronto office of SvN Architects + Planners, and has extensive experience developing award-winning projects, from interior design to master planning, and working with major public and private clients. She remains a powerful advocate for under-represented groups intent on improving the built environment. Camille is the founding member and continues to advise the boards of independent organizations Building Equality in Architecture Toronto (BEAT) and the Black Architects + Interior Designer Association (BAIDA), where the programs of both organizations support mentorship, networking and leadership opportunities for women and visible minorities within the architecture profession. She is regularly invited to adjudicate numerous awards programs as a jury member and lectures on architecture and design. Camille is a past recipient of the G. Randy Roberts Service Award from the Ontario Association of Architects in recognition of her numerous contributions to the architectural profession.

Camille joined colleagues, friends and family to form the Nike Onile Arts and Design Foundation (NO-AD) as a commitment to empower diverse, underrepresented designers by providing them with resources and support they need to turn their talents into successful and sustainable careers. NO-AD is a legacy initiative that honours the life and works of Nike Onile, a dearly departed artist, interior designer and on-air design expert.
