COVID-19.

COVID-19 Protocols.

Updated: May 27, 2022

Since the start of the pandemic, IDS Vancouver has been closely following the advice of public health authorities. As an event, we will continue to abide to the latest guidance from local authorities, while making every effort to ensure your time at IDS Vancouver is both enjoyable and safe.

IMPORTANT: Please note that all restrictions and requirements are subject to change at any time to best protect the health and safety of all of its audiences in accordance with government guidelines and legal allowances. These may include, without limitation, changes to capacity, attendance procedures, and entry requirements, such as mandatory mask wearing, proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID-19 test, daily screening, contact tracing and any other protective measures. If any visitor, exhibitor, partner, sponsor, or staff do not comply with any laws, mandates, health orders/directives, show management may refuse admission to the event or require individual to leave the venue and with no refunds of entrance fees, booth fees, membership fees, parking fees, rental fees, or any other expenses/payments.

Health & Safety Guidelines.

The following Health and Safety Guidelines will continue to be in place at IDS Vancouver 2022:

Face Coverings: In line with the latest provincial guidance, mask wearing will not be required but is optional. Face masks are recommended where physical distancing may not be possible. We encourage everyone to take precautions based on their individual risk assessment and comfort level.

Contactless Ticketing: We encourage everyone to pre-purchase tickets at idsvancouver.ca prior to attending the event. Upon entry, simply present your tickets on your mobile device. Alternatively, you may print out your digital ticket and present this at the door for scanning.  Trade Day Badges can be printed at home and presented at the door for entry.

Self Assessment of Symptoms: If you are not feeling well and are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.

Enhanced Sanitization: The Vancouver Convention Centre has implemented a robust health and safety plan which includes frequent cleaning of all surfaces and hand sanitization stations throughout the facility. In addition, they have earned the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation – a third-party validation that their facility provides a clean, safe, and healthy environment and have rigorous protocols in place.

Building Ventilation: The Vancouver Convention Centre is a past and current recipient of the National Air Filtration Association’s Clean Air Award. The Clean Air Award recognizes the use of high efficiency filtration products, good maintenance standards, and an outstanding effort to maintain a clean and healthy indoor environment.
